Blogging as a career is a new concept to me. Of course I’ve heard of people that do it but I never thought that I could do it. As it becomes more of a reality to me, I feel like I can’t find enough time to read about everything that comes along with the “life of a blogger.”
I keep reading that you need to spend money to make money but spending is hard to do when you are scared that you are going to fail.
I’ve decided that one of my goals as a blogger is to attend a conference. I feel that days jam packed with information will be money well spent. The only problem? There are so many out there! It takes a lot of research so to make it a little easier on you, I’m going to share with you all of the conferences I found across the country. Let me know if you have been to any and have any feedback! Some of these have already taken place in 2017 but I have signed up for their email lists for when their 2018 dates are announced. The conferences listed are for bloggers but there are also TONS of conferences for entrepreneurs in general if you are interested in that.
From the website:c “The 2:1 Conference is a faith-based conference for homeschooling parents who blog (not just about homeschooling), or are active in social media. ” – October 20-22, 2017 in Herndon, VA. FREE! The only catch? You have to pay $200 to reserve your spot. When you show up, you are refunded. If you skip out, you don’t get your money.
This has unfortunately passed (It was January 31-Feb 3rd in Palm Springs, CA – they change locations). It sounds amazing though!
