I apologize for the lack of posting, as I mentioned (over and over again) my 30th birthday was quickly approaching and I wasn’t sure what to do for it. Since my last post, my birthday has come and gone and everything is back to normal. And now I’m officially old – ha ha!
So what did we end up doing? Ryan and I rented a house in the mountains in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and had the perfect week. Finding a sitter for our dog is always a struggle so I found a pet friendly house that ended up cheaper than a hotel! I highly recommend looking into this the next time you travel. We booked through HomeAway and it went very smoothly.
We ate lots of good food, saw beautiful views and wildlife, shopped and had a week of relaxation and rejuvenation.
Gatlinburg has an 8 mile loop arts and crafts community that is filled with shops and restaurants. I knew Ryan wouldn’t say no to doing this on my birthday, so off we went!
One of my best buys was a candle for $10, which led me to the idea for this post. The fact that I’m also laying in my bed with blankets and the candle smell surrounding me may have played a small part.
With the fall-like weather and need for pumpkin spice lattes and cozy throws, you also may want to light some yummy candles. Here are some of my absolute favorites that are also an amazing price! If you click the picture, it will take you to the link to purchase!
Bath and Body Works – Pumpkin Apple $24.50 (How could I leave out Bath and Body Works? They are currently $12.50 when you buy 2 or more!)
Yankee Candle – Honeycrisp Apple Cider $19.79 (This is the closet I can find to an apple cider candle Yankee made as a limited edition in 2014 that I was in lovvve with. This is pretty good but not like that!)
Now that you know my 5 favorite fall candles and brands, what are yours? Any small shops that I need to know about? Actually, I take that back, don’t tell me! I spend way too much on candles as it is!
